> Identify and critically examine from a historical perspective the meaning, impact and treatment of pain throughout the ages and the clinical, research and educational priority that the NIH has assigned to this symptom
> Understand the need to offer preventive and interventive management strategies to address the high prevalence of pain in women, with a concentration on women who have vulvodynia
> Provide to the clinician clinical and research screening and interventions that are directed to women with vulvodynia
