> Recognize the root cause of each major morbidity and all mortalities.
> Apply standard of care measures, treatment and guidelines.
> Develop treatment plans to prevent such mortalities and morbidities.
> Identify any gaps in the standard of care and what could have been done differently to achieve a better outcome.
> Evaluate these issues that are to be addressed across all disciplines (surgery, anesthesia, nursing, perfusion, physician assistants and physical therapy)
